My personal stance is that all things in the biosphere have an equal right to live and blossom and to reach their own individual forms of unfoldin and self-realization within the larger Self-realization. Source: P. 58, Divine Nature - A Spiritual perspective on the environmental crisis.

I researched "how to approach a gallery". It said you have to talk about your art.

"My art is about evolving 23 years now. I started with oil paintings in high school in Pretoria, , South Africa, at the Afrikaans HIgh School for Girls. Now I am 39 years old. It has since evolved into our latest resin biodiversity art. Nowadays I like making functional art, as in wearable, in the form of earrings, necklaces, keychains, wall art and chess boards. "

"Ms Anneke Cilliers (BSc, Msc, emotional wellseekeress) finds her deepest inspirations enveloped in the essence of dreams, immersing themselves in a blissful trance of creation. This dream state transcends mere aspiration, becoming a surreal canvas where possibilities bloom endlessly, a place where the mind wanders, seeking the sublime, the ethereal, fostering an insatiable quest to reach heights previously unimagined, somehow, somewhere".

Another central theme in my work is animism.

All art that is not mere storytelling, or mere portraiture, is symbolic, and has the purpose of those symbolic talismans which medieval magicians made with complex colours and forms, and bade their patients ponder over daily, and guard with holy secrecy; for it entangles, in complex colours and forms, a part of the Divine Essence.

It is no coincidence that until only the last two hundred years or so, before the birth of modern medicine, the same people who practiced medicine also created amulets and charms, wrote almanacs, gave blessings and told fortunes.

In ancient Egypt, the potency and importance of amulets and talismans during life and in the afterworld was universally understood. The Ankh, combining the creative power of the River Nile, a fish’s mouth and Ru, the hieroglyph meaning “a gateway”, is still in use today as the ultimate symbol of everlasting life. The http://www.mummies2pyramids.info/religion-culture-magic/menat.htm">Menat talisman was dedicated to Hathor and promoted healthy reproductive organs; scarab amulets, often inscribed with good wishes and mottoes, symbolised strength and virility, while the Eye of Horus was worn to encourage good health (Thomas & Pavitt 1914). The eye as a symbol of protection was utilized by many ancient cultures and is still universally recognized today in the form of the https://kashgar.com.au/blogs/ritual-objects/the-evil-eye-and-the-hamsa">Evil Eye

Each of my works of art comes with a card with the symbolism, to remind one of the positive things in life.
