An ocean totem pole

Dr. Ph. Martin’s Iridescent – Metallic Green ink on driftwood. Size: 1 m x 17 cm. 

I went for a long walk on the beach near Mossel Bay in the southern cape province of South Africa, and came across this piece of driftwood with round holes neatly drilled through, so I thought do something with it. Using this metallic green paint has been a wonderful experience. The piece became something like water with bubbles in it, and I imagine it is like being under the water. Being a fire sign, I resonate strongly with the water element as it cools my explosive nature and calms my senses.
